When traveling outside the Schengen area, you must pass through passport control. That includes both departure and arrivals. At Copenhagen Airport there are two passport controls - one at gate C and one at gate F/E.
Advice for the passport control
  1. Always allocate extra time for passport control.
  2. Arrive at least 2.5 hours before departure for Schengen area flights and 3 hours for non-Schengen.

  5. Have your passport ready before entering passport control and ensure each family member presents their passports individually.
